Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her roles as a lead actress in the action movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of goals. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of films. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities, and was particularly fond of drama. She loved to play act with her friends and participated in her school's stage productions. She acted in many high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. She was in The University of Southern Cal's Summer program and enjoyed tremendously. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. The first assignment was to be a production assist for TV documentaries after successfully completing her assignment. Her next step was to produce documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of becoming an actress. She launched her acting career by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in a number of famous television and film productions.
