Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton, the child of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for plays as a child as well as watching her mother doing her job. Early on Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto in Ontario to pursue her acting. The decade which followed, she moved into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in the year 2009.
